Custom In-ground Pools for Leesburg Homes
Leesburg sits between Lake Harris and Lake Griffin, and life here leans toward the water. Some homes back right up to the shoreline, while others sit on quiet, established streets with mature oaks and generous yards. Either way, a backyard pool is one of the best ways to enjoy Central Florida weather most of the year, as long as it is designed for the home and the lot it belongs to.
Blue Dream Pools has designed and built custom in-ground pools across Central Florida since 2004, from our showroom at 260 E Plant St in downtown Winter Garden. We are a Florida certified pool and spa contractor, license CPC1460083, and we serve homeowners throughout Lake County, including Leesburg. Call (407) 905-2704 to talk about your yard.

What We Build in Leesburg
We design and build custom in-ground pools and spas, sun shelves, plunge pools, water and fire features, LED lighting and complete decks in pavers or natural stone. Each pool shell is engineered gunite, formed on site to fit your yard. Many homeowners pair the pool with an outdoor kitchen or a fire feature so the backyard works well after dark, and more are adding a cold plunge beside a warm spa. We also renovate existing pools with new interior finishes, tile, coping, equipment and lighting. See everything we offer on our residential pool services page, and for spa and cold plunge ideas, our pool fitness and wellness page.
Planning for Lakefront Lots and Florida Soil
A good pool starts with a careful look at the site. On lakefront lots, we check setback requirements from the shoreline and plan the pool, deck and equipment so they fit within them. Near the water, the water table can sit close to the surface, so we account for groundwater in the engineering and construction plan from the start.
Drainage matters just as much. Central Florida storms can drop a lot of rain quickly, so we grade the deck and surrounding yard to move water away from the pool and the house. Older, established lots often have mature trees, and we plan around root zones and leaf fall when we place the pool and choose equipment. Variable-speed Hayward pumps, automation you can run from your phone and finishes chosen for the Florida sun keep ownership simple once the pool is built.
Designing Around the View
When a yard looks out over the water or a wide green lawn, we lay out the pool so the view stays open from the house and from the deck. That can mean a low-profile spa set at the pool’s edge, a sun shelf facing the sunset, or lighting kept soft so evenings by the water feel calm. We walk the yard with you, note where the shade falls through the day and shape the design around how you want to spend time outside.
Pool Permits in Leesburg
Which office issues your pool permit depends on your address. Properties inside Leesburg city limits are permitted through the City of Leesburg Building Department, while addresses in unincorporated areas go through Lake County. Blue Dream Pools confirms the right jurisdiction for your parcel, prepares the engineered plans and permit package, pulls the pool permit as a Florida certified pool and spa contractor and schedules the inspections.
