Custom Gunite Pools for Celebration Homes
Celebration was planned down to the porch railings. Its front-porch streets, tree-lined paths and town-center lake give it a look you notice from the first block, and the backyards behind those homes are usually more compact and more carefully proportioned than in the newer suburbs around it. A pool here has to earn its space: well scaled to the lot, finished to match the house and comfortable to use most of the year.
Blue Dream Pools has designed and built custom gunite pools from our showroom on Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden since 2004. We are a Florida certified pool and spa contractor, license CPC1460083. Call (407) 905-2704 to talk about your yard.
What We Build in Celebration
We design and build custom gunite pools, spas, sun shelves, plunge and lap pools, water and fire features, lighting and complete decks in pavers, natural stone, concrete or turf. Many Celebration homes are now old enough that the original pool is ready for a refresh, so we also renovate: new interior finishes, tile and coping, equipment, lighting and full redesigns. See why homeowners choose Blue Dream Pools.
Designing for Celebration's Lots and Architecture
Celebration's homes come in a range of traditional styles. A pool that suits a Charleston-style home is not the same pool that suits a Mediterranean one, so we match coping, tile and deck colors to the architecture instead of defaulting to one look.
Lots are often narrow, with rear-loaded garages, alleys and side setbacks that leave a defined rectangle to work with. That is where gunite shines. Because the shell is formed on site, we can fit a geometric pool, a spa and a usable deck into a tight footprint, or pair a compact plunge pool with a lounging ledge where a full-size pool will not fit. Many yards here are close to conservation areas and wetlands that wrap the town, so we check the survey for easements and lower ground and plan drainage for Central Florida's afternoon storms.
Permits for Celebration Pools
Celebration is not an incorporated city. Residential pool permits are issued by the Osceola County Building Office through the county's online Permit Center, with a pool barrier affidavit, site plan showing setbacks and engineered pool plans. Blue Dream Pools prepares the permit package, pulls the permit and schedules the county inspections.
Pool Ideas That Suit Celebration
A rectangular pool with a raised spa wall and sheer descents fits the town's traditional homes, and a long sun shelf gives kids a shallow place to play without taking up the whole yard. Lighter travertine or shellstone decking stays cooler under summer sun and complements the pastel and white palette of many streets. In smaller yards, a spa-pool combination with a bench and a fire bowl creates an evening spot that works year-round. We work through options in detailed design so you can see how the pool sits beside the house before anything is decided.
